Description
The Bently Nevada 3500/22M Transient Data Interface (TDI) Module is a key component in the 3500 monitoring system, serving as the interface between the monitoring system and compatible software. The module combines the functionality of the 3500/20 Rack Interface Module (RIM) with the data collection capabilities of a communications processor such as TDXnet. It is designed to continuously collect steady-state and transient waveform data and pass this data to the host software over an Ethernet link.
Key Features and Specifications:
The TDI occupies slot 1, which is adjacent to the power supply in the 3500 rack. This placement ensures easy setup and maintenance.
Works with M-Series displays (e.g., 3500/40M, 3500/42M) to collect data and is compatible with GE’s System 1* machinery management software.
Capable of collecting standard steady-state data. With the optional channel enable disc, it can also capture dynamic or transient data, including waveforms.
Supports four 3500 system key signals and provides speed range support based on the number of dynamic channels enabled. It can handle multiple events per speed input up to 20 kHz per revolution.
Captures pre- and post-alarm data, including static values collected before and after the event, as well as waveform data for specific time intervals before and after the alarm.
Includes Trip Multiplier, Alarm Suppression, and Rack Reset features for managing alarms and clearing latched alarms and timed OK channel failures.
Offers 10Base-T or 100Base-TX Ethernet, auto-sensing and 100Base-FX fibre-optic Ethernet. It also has a USB-B front panel for configuration or data retrieval.
