The Triconex 3625 digital output module offers a high degree of security and usability. It contains four serial ports and two network ports and features a fully triplexed fault-tolerant system (ICS), which means it has hardware-implemented fault-tolerance (HIFT) and voting capabilities, the ability to provide 64-bit CPU support, and independent temperature and humidity sensors.
The module also has a hot-swap capability that allows hot-swapping in neighbouring or smart tanks, thus ensuring system continuity and stability. In addition, it has a specialised tacho monitoring module, the hybrid TMR T8448 module for fire-gas systems, which allows for the largest configuration of a single station, including up to 10 expansion racks (including remote racks), 128 I/O modules, and approximately 5,000 points of I/O.
